Tamás Orbán

Tamás Orbán has over two decades of international experience in developing and launching digital services and new payment solutions. Since 2020, he has been working at Visa, where he currently serves as Risk Manager for Central and Eastern Europe. In this role, he supports clients in growing their payment solutions within an ever-changing risk environment and promotes collaboration across the payments ecosystem to prevent fraud.

At Visa, he previously played a key role in building relationships with acquirers and merchants, managing multi-year development agreements, and driving regional business development initiatives. Prior to joining Visa, Tamás held leadership positions at SIX Payment Services, Global Payments, and B-Payment Group. As an operations executive, he successfully supported the rollout of new services in the rapidly growing acquiring market, implemented CRM and risk management frameworks, and led cross-border product development projects. Tamás holds an Executive MBA from the Central European University.
