Richárd Szabados

He was born in 1976 in Debrecen. In 2000, he graduated from the University of Debrecen with a degree in economics, and in 2002 obtained a certified tax advisor qualification at Perfekt Zrt. From 2000 to 2002, he worked as a tax consultant at Arthur Andersen Consulting. Between 2002 and 2003, he served as a client relationship manager at Budapest Bank Zrt. From 2004 to 2009, he was Head of Business Development at Budapest Bank Zrt. In 2009–2010, he worked as SME Distribution Manager at K&H Bank Zrt. Between 2010 and 2013, he was SME Sales Director at CIB Bank Zrt. From 2013 to 2016, he served as Head of the SME Division and CEO of the Leasing Group at CIB Bank Zrt. From 2016 to 2023, he was Head of Corporate Banking at Erste Bank Zrt. In 2023–2024, he held the position of Managing Director at the Hungarian Economic Development Agency. Since September 15, 2024, he has been State Secretary for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Technology, and the Defence Industry at the Ministry for National Economy.
